

The Crappie bite is heating up on the lake!
Had the pleasure of fishing with Jason and company on Sunday. The weather was the best we had seen since the season started, and so was the fishing. The morning started off good and steady with the bite getting better as the day progressed. The fish have made a quick push to shallower water, and we found fish in the 6-10' range on structure. Hello fishing fans! This past week the March lion has definitely reared its ugly head! High winds and rain have made fishing on the lakes pretty tough. I finally had a day to get out and test the waters so to speak on the crappie bite. I fished the south end of Kentucky lake for a few hours on Monday. The bite was surprisingly good for the recent weather events that we have faced the past few weeks. Seems as though the warmer weather and dirty water have the fish charged up and ready to bite.
